Pre Season Update

Ashmoor 1 vs East Devon 0
On Thursday night East Devon travelled to Totnes to play a strong Ashmoor squad containing national league players.
This was the first match of pre season for the lads who have been working hard throughout the summer. The hard work the lads have put in showed throughout the game as East pushed the Hosts right to the end.
The first quarter started off really positive, winning 3 short corners and George Burningham coming close after a great save from the Ashmoor goalkeeper.
The good work continued into the 2nd quarter. Although East sat back a lot more, Ashmoor still couldn’t find a way through.
In the 3rd quarter the hosts again were on the front foot but with fatigue kicking in still East showed their resilience and won some more short corners which they failed to convert. A strong team team effort defensively still kept the game competitive at 0-0.
Final quarter and Ashmoor finally broke the East back line and finished with a quality reverse into the far corner to make the game 1-0.
