Junior Umpires

The club has been informed of junior umpire academy sessions that will be held in December in Devon. It will be run by Neil Barnes who is an associate club member and DHUA Young Umpire Coordinator.
The first two Academy dates have been booked and are now ready for any club young umpires who wish to take this opportunity.
• 8 December 2019 Okehampton 12:00-16:00
Meet at The Pavilion in the Park, Mill Rd, Okehampton EX20 1GE
• 15 December 2019 Plymouth University of St Mark and St John 10:00-14:00
Meet at Marjon Sports Centre,Derriford Rd, Plymouth PL6 8BH
The Acadamy is aimed at 13-16 year olds with varying levels of experience and also 16-18 year olds that are new umpires.
For more experienced umpires we run coaching sessions in live game or training game situations.
