Match Report | This was by far East Devons worst performance of the season so far. A slow start from East Devon meant that after about 15 minutes they found themselves 2-0 down after some good pressure from the Sidmouth side. The game got even harder for East Devon 5 minutes later when goalkeeper Brandon Milford recieved a yellow, followed up with a red card for dissent. This meant Nick Tancock stepped in goal and at half time East Devon were 2-0 down. Sidmouth then scored again with a drag flick into the top of the goal to make it 3-0. East Devon then recieved a penalty flick for a Sidmouth defender stopping the ball with his foot on the line. With Alex Newman stepping up to take it and scoring it gave East Devon a slight chance of a comeback. Unfortunately with East Devon pushing for the next goal it meant there were gaps left at the back which Sidmouth found and finished the game 5-1 winners. Overall a very dissapointing day for East Devon. |
