Match Report | A narrow loss for East Devon in a very tight game against a strong Isca team. The game was played at 100% from the very start till the very end, with both teams trying to get the important first goal. As usual East Devon started slowly and were stuck inside their own half until the last 10-15 minutes of the first half, when East Devon started to make a bit of space and a few chances. With the score still 0-0 at half time, both teams knew that the first goal would be very important. The breakthrough for Isca came from a short corner. The first effort was blocked by Jamie White but unfortunately the rebound fell to an Isca player who's shot on goal was deflected into the goal by the player running in. In a tight game where both teams created chances after a fantastic game the final score was 1-0 to Isca. |
