Match Report | A tough away game for East Devon against a Duchy side with a very strong home record. Things didn't get off to the best of starts after a fast start from Duchy resulted in 2 quick goals to put East Devon on the back foot and chasing the game from the start. A couple half chances for East Devon before half time which resulted in the Duchy goal keeper producing a couple good saves/clearences. Duchy then pushed forward after some sustained pressure from East Devon and scored a 3rd before half time. After a chat about different ways to play on a very tricky pitch meant that East Devon came out after half time and started passing the ball around and trying to keep possesion. Duchy's very impressive press however, made it hard for East Devon to pass their out of defence. After another couple half chances for East Devon, Duchy countered and pushed players forward and saw off the game with a well taken 4th goal. Another dissapointing result for and East Devon side who's performances have not been reflected by some of the score lines so far this season.
