Match Report | A massive result for East Devon 1's who went into the game with some very good performances but without the deserved results. East Devon started well and their early pressure was rewarded when Steve Mearing's strike from a short corner went in through the goal keepers legs. Bodmin responded though with a well worked goal when one of their midfielders picked a pass out to the back post where one of the bodmin forwards tapped in from close range. Mike Vallance managed to score 2 more goals, which put East Devon into a deserved lead and when Robert Dormor took a reverse side shot which ended up in the bottom corner, this rounded off an excellent performance. Bodmin carried on pushing until the end of the game though and scored with vertually the last play of the game from a short corner. Overall an excellent performance from East Devon against a strong Bodmin side. |
